Teaching the next generation
of health researchers and professionals.

Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), PGCert in Higher Education with Distinction. Leading modules on the Respiratory Medicine MSc and designing CPD in implementation science.

I have been involved in teaching in various capacities alongside my research fellow roles. Since re-joining the University of Birmingham in the PSRC I have become more involved with teaching: I graduated from the PGCert in Higher Education with Distinction, alongside taking on responsibilities such as leading the academic skills portion of the Respiratory Medicine MSc and leading its Dissertation Module.

I have also developed an online CPD course in Implementation Science, drawing on a mix of original self-recorded content and a series of masterclasses by key implementation scientists. In the next five years I envisage co-supervising at least two PhD students to completion. My publications are also increasingly being used organically in teaching at other institutions, such as Keele University.
