Research that changes
what the NHS does.

My publications have been cited in Parliamentary Committee Reports and informed work by the OECD and NICE. Frameworks and guidance I have developed are used widely across the NHS to effect practice.

I have consistently focused on generating impact from my research, including being awarded a commercialisation fellowship at the University of Surrey which enabled me to produce a guide for healthcare staff to reduce unprofessional behaviours based on my research — downloaded over 800 times in the first month.

A framework I developed to aid inter-organisational collaboration in the NHS enabled one NHS Mental Health Provider Collaborative to "reach a consensus that we'd failed to achieve for probably 10 months."
