Oriel Quotes for Word

Oriel Quotes is a Microsoft Word add-in for Oriel. While you write, it lets you search your project’s coded passages and insert them as quotes, each followed by its participant label.

It reads a quotes file that you export from Oriel with File → Export → Quotes for Word…. The file stays on your computer: Oriel Quotes reads it from your disk and never sends it anywhere.

Word on a Mac or Windows

In Oriel, choose File → Export → Quotes for Word… and click Install in Word. Then restart Word and choose Oriel Quotes under Home → Add-ins.

Word on the web, or adding it by hand

  1. Download the Oriel Quotes manifest.
  2. In Word, choose Home → Add-ins → More Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in, and choose the file you downloaded.
